Mohawk College turning health institute into living lab for hundreds of high school students

More than 400 Grade 11 and 12 students from Hamilton will spend a day getting hands-on learning at the Mohawk-McMaster Institute for Applied Health Sciences later this month. Students from the health and wellness specialist high skills major program with the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board and Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board will be at the institute Oct. 15th, 22nd and 29th. Mohawk students and high school students doing co-ops at the institute will lead demonstrations in the nursing and medical radiation sciences labs.
