Mohawk College's 27th annual Popsicle Stick Bridge Building Competition tonight and tomorrow

Super Mario (Mohawk technologist Mario Rojas) is ready to crush the dreams of hundreds of high school and college students during the 2014 Popsicle Stick Bridge Building Competition. The bridge-splintering carnage happens in The Arnie at the Fennell Campus tonight for high school students from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and from noon to 3 p.m. tomorrow March 26 for college students. Students are putting their engineering skills to the test for up to $10,000 in prizes. Bridges constructed out of Popsicle sticks and glue that carry the greatest number of times their own weight before shattering in a testing jig are the winners.
