Mohawk opens Restricted-Access Bike Parking Facility at Fennell Campus

Bike Shelter Opening


Mohawk College opened its Restricted-Access Bike Parking Facility at the college's Fennell Campus today. The facility was built with support and funding from Metrolinx, Smart Commute Hamilton, and the City of Hamilton, and services donated by Canral and Northern Painters. On hand to celebrate the opening were (from front left) Mohawk President Rob MacIsaac; Antoine Belaieff, Director, Innovation for Metrolinx; Dan Clark, MSA President; Peter Topalovic, Project Manager, Transportation Demand Management for the City of Hamilton; and Andrew Hall, MSA's Vice President, Fennell Campus.


Students and staff can purchase a membership to the Restricted-Access Bike Parking Facility for an annual fee of $50. The facility offers space for up to 40 bicycles. Visit the Sustainability Office webpage for more information or to purchase a membership to the facility.
