Mohawk receives $2.8 million in additional funding from the Ontario government

The Ontario government this morning announced additional funding for Mohawk College and McMaster University as part of the five-year Open Ontario Plan to create new opportuniteis for jobs and economic growth. To help support enrolment and programs for students this year, Mohawk will receive $2,843,576 and McMaster will receive $9,510,691.


"Mohawk is in the business of transforming students into highly skilled, future-ready graduates," Cheryl Jensen, Vice President Academic, said during the funding announcement this morning with Minister of Consumer Services Sophia Aggelonitis and Member of Provincial Parliament Ted McMeekin. "And our business is growing thanks to the continuing support and investment of the Ontario government in our students, our college and our community."
