Mohawk signs collaborative research agreement with Natural Resources Canada

Celebrating a new partnership (from left): Natural Resources Canada Assistant Deputy Minister Steven Lucas, Director-General of the CANMET Materials Technology Laboratory Dr. Jennifer Jackman, Member of Parliament David Sweet and Mohawk President Rob MacIsaac at the McMaster Innovation Park.


Mohawk today signed a collaborative research agreement with Natural Resources Canada. Students and faculty will work with scientific and technical staff at the CANMET Materials Technology Laboratory on applied research projects for industry partners. The agreement advances Mohawk's strategic plan, which calls for building on the college's leadership role in applied research, strengthening partnerships and creating real world learning opportunities for students.
