Mohawk this Week (Jan. 31 to Feb. 6)

Monday, Jan. 31: The annual KPI survey starts Monday and runs to Feb. 11.  More than 9,000 Mohawk students will complete the annual Key Performance Indicator survey. A team of KPI ambassadors will administer the survey in 205 classrooms. The provincial survey asks students at Ontario's 24 colleges to weigh in on the overall quality of teaching, facilities and services. Survey results are then posted online for all colleges.


Thursday, Feb. 3: 2010 United Way Campaign Touchdown and Spirit of Community Awards at Carmen’s Banquet Centre.

Wednesday, Feb. 16: Business & Engineering Technology Career Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Fennell Campus Gymnasium.


Wednesday, Feb. 23: Kevin Smith, President and CEO of St. Joseph’s Health System, will be the keynote speaker at Mohawk's Third Annual Mohawk President’s Dinner. The dinner takes place from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Liuna Station. 


Thursday, Feb. 24: Join Mohawk College President Rob MacIsaac and invited guests for the official opening of the Learning Exchange (H Wing) at the Fennell campus. The event starts at 2 p.m.


Awards and Accolades:


Congratulations Salman Arif! Salman is a Level 3 Medical Radiation Sciences student at Mohawk College that has been honoured with membership in the prestigious Golden Key Society. The recognition means Salman joins an elite group of students from around the world who were chosen for their individual accomplishments, personal interest and support of academic excellence.
