International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010: Kids and Cash Seminar, 6:30 – 8 p.m.,  MCACES Resource Centre, F114. Parents and Caregivers attending this workshop will be able to: create an environment that gives kids tools for a healthy financial future; discover the elements of money management for kids; determine your money values so you can consciously share them with your children. Thursday, Nov. 18: President Rob MacIsaac is the guest speaker at the Stoney Creek Chamber of Commerce networking lunch at Winona Vine Estate.


Thursday, Nov. 18 – Sunday, Nov. 21: 2010 ArcelorMittal Dofasco Hamilton Music Awards, Festival & Conference at the Fennell Campus. Visit the Hamilton Music Awards for tickets and event details. Mohawk is proud to once again be the presenting sponsor and host venue for showcasing and recognizing established and emerging local talent.


Thursday, Nov. 18 at 3 p.m.: Join the Hon. John Milloy, Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities in celebrating completion of the first in a series of renewal projects planned for the Fennell Campus. Mark Your Calendar


Saturday, Nov. 27: The annual Mohawk College Children's Holiday Party takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the cafeteria and C-Wing atrium at the Fennell Campus. The party, for children and grandchildren of Mohawk staff and retirees, will feature games and crafts by students in Mohawk's Recreation and Leisure Services program, as well as entertainment, lunch and a guest appearance by Santa.


There is a nominal fee of $10 per child or $25 for three or more children. Please pay in cash at the party or send a cheque, made payable to Mohawk College, to Mohawk's Special Events Department (room C025, Fennell Campus). Click to register online.


Saturday, Dec. 4: The Mohawk Students' Association, Mohawk Alumni Association and Mohawk College Association of Continuing Education Students host a "Photos with Santa" event for the children of students and alumni.
