Mohawk to host Special Olympics event for secondary schools on May 30

Mohawk College will host the Special Olympics Ontario and Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board Special Olympics event for secondary schools on Wednesday May 30, 2012.

The games start at 9:30 a.m. at the Fennell Campus and will run until1:30 p.m. 

Mohawk also welcomes the Hamilton Police Service who will be holding its annual Law Enforcement Torch Run/Walk immediately prior to the start of the Special Olympics event. The walk/run will start at Chedoke Twin Pad (91 Chedmac Drive) at 8 a.m. and end at the Fennell Campus in time for the start of the games.
