Playoff dates are set for Mohawk volleyball teams and the basketball teams have clinched home playoff dates.

The volleyball regular season concluded this past weekend with both Mountaineer teams losing 3-0 to the Humber Hawks. The women will now prepare for a home playoff match versus the Algonquin Wolves on Feb. 10 at 1 p.m. The men will travel to play the Centennial Colts on Feb. 10 at 7 p.m.

On the basketball court, the Mohawk women’s team had a perfect week with wins over the Conestoga Condors and Humber Hawks. The Mountaineers have solidified the fourth seed in the OCAA West division and will host a home playoff game. The date, time, and opponent for the playoff game are still to be determined. The Mountaineer men’s team split their games, defeating the Condors but losing to the Hawks. Mohawk is guaranteed to host a home playoff game as well, but their seeding is still to be determined.

On the ice, Mohawk curling teams will be competing in the OCAA Championships this week in Sault Ste. Marie. Action begins today, Feb. 8.
