Mountaineers varsity highlights – September 6, 2024

The Mohawk Mountaineers are back! A brand-new varsity season officially begins on Saturday, September 7.

Be sure to catch the action and support Mountaineers student-athletes as they represent the college in Ontario Colleges Athletic Association competition.

Upcoming Games

Softball

Mohawk women’s softball team begins its new season on the road on Saturday. They’ll play the Sheridan Bruins at 11 a.m. and the St. Clair Saints at 3 p.m. Both games will be played in Windsor.
The Mountaineers' first action at home will come on Sunday, Sept. 8 at Mohawk Sports Park (Diamond 1). Mohawk will play the Durham Lords at 11 a.m. and the Conestoga Condors at 3 p.m.

Soccer

Mohawk’s women’s and men’s soccer teams will also kick off their season on the road. They’ll play the Lambton Lions in Sarnia, ON this Saturday with the women’s game starting at 1 p.m. and the men are scheduled to follow at 3 p.m.
The two teams will remain on the road on Sunday when they play the St. Clair Saints in Windsor, ON. The women’s team will play at 1 p.m. and the men once again follow at 3 p.m.

Mohawk’s volleyball programs will host their Alumni Games on Sept. 7 with the women’s game at 1 p.m. and the men are set to play at 3 p.m. All Mohawk alumni are welcome to attend to watch their former peers step back onto the court. Entry to the DBARC gymnasium is free.
