New student orientation today at Mohawk College, classes start tomorrow

Ferris wheel Today is orientation for all new students to Mohawk College. Along with meeting faculty and learning more about their programs and campus life, students are invited to an afternoon Festival @ Fennell. The festival includes free ferris wheel rides, cotton candy, popcorn and snocones, carnival games and a shot at winning iPads. A free shuttle service is running between campuses.


Tomorrow (Sept. 8) marks the start of classes for all students. This year, Mohawk will train 11,500 full-time and 4,000 apprenticeship students. The festival continues tomorrow as part of orientation for all students.
