The Globe and Mail has this story about Applied Research at Canada's colleges. The story put a spotlight on the growing importance of applied research at colleges across Canada, and features the work of Mohawk Building and Construction Science Professor Richard Borger. Richard's research work includes using drones to improve efficiency on construciton sites, to determining the makeup of northern forests and detecting unauthorized drones.
