Part 2: Old Aircraft gets a second life
Mohawk College Aviation students will spend the next year restoring a 1950s Piper Apache that was abandoned in a field next to Hwy 6 near Flamborough in 1980. Once restored, the aircraft will have a new home at the Eva Rothwell Centre in North Hamilton where it will inspire future generations to pursue careers in science and technology.
Students to restore aircraft that sat in field for almost 40 years
