President and Mayor go head-to-head for spinal cord research

Wheels in motion 2 President Rob MacIsaac and Hamilton Mayor Fred Eisenberger (a Mohawk alumnus) kicked off the local Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion fundraiser Friday at Mohawk. Rob and Fred competed in a wheelchair obstacle course, with the Mayor crossing the finish line first. The event was organized by a team of students from Mohawk's Public Relations post-graduate certificate program. On June 14, Mohawk hosts the annual Wheel in Motion fundraiser for spinal cord research at the Fennell Campus. Mohawk graduate Anthony Frisina is one the ambassadors for the event.
