President's remarks from Wednesday's breakfast

Volunteers are needed for a door-to-door survey on the morning of Saturday, Sept. 12 in North Hamilton’s Keith Neighbourhood. The Voice of the Community event will engage neighbourhood residents on what programs and services could be offered at the Eva Rothwell Centre at Robert Land.

The Voice of the Community event is being organized by The Project Management Institute and the Eva Rothwell Resource Centre.  A community barbecue will be held at the Eva Rothwell Centre following the door-to-door survey.

Neighbourhood feedback will be used to guide a strategic planning process for the Eva Rothwell Resource Centre. Mohawk initiated a strategic partnership with the community centre in 2006 that continues to students and staff in helping build an even stronger and more sustainable community for the 1,100 families living in the Keith Neighbourhood.

For more information on the Voice of the Community event, go to the Project Management Institute website at www.pmi-lakeshore.org (go to Announcements). To volunteer for the Sept. 12 survey, please email to outreach@pmi-lakeshore.org.
