Continuing Education instructors at Mohawk earned top marks from students in a province-wide college survey conducted in the Fall of 2008 by CCI Research Inc.


Students ranked CE at Mohawk first among colleges in the following categories:





  • Instructor's knowledge of the subject (98% very satisfied / satisfied)



  • Helpfulness of instructor (95%)



  • Opportunity for participation and discussion in class (96%)



  • Fairness of evaluation (96%)



  • Feedback from your instructor about your progress (93%)



  • Overall, the instructor (95%)



  • Instructor speaks in a clear, concise and easy to understand manner (94%)



  • Instructor shows courtesy and respect for all students (98%)



  • Instructor presents material at a comfortable speed (92%)



  • Quality of instructors at this College (96%)


Other key survey findings for CE at Mohawk:

  • 52% are between 25 and 44 years of age



  • 81% are employed (64% full-time and 17% part-time)
