Remembering alumnus Sgt. Andrew Harnett - In the News

People across the country turned their attention over the past week to the death of Calgary Police officer, Sargeant Andrew Harnett, a Mohawk College alumnus ('03), who went on to serve the country in the Canadian Armed Forces prior to serving the City of Calgary. Sgt. Harnett was remembered by the Mohawk College Alumni Association and by President McKerlie, as well as by local media outlets, including CHCH News. 

The Harnett family, based in Hagersville, ON, issued a statement through the City of Calgary this week.

We extend our sympathy to all family and friends who are mourning Sgt. Harnett's passing.
