Showcase highlights McKeil School student successes

The McKeil School of Business, Media and Entertainment Showcase on April 11 provided an opportunity for industry, students and faculty to celebrate project-based learning over the past year. Student work on display came from multiple programs, including Business, Media and Entertainment and the Business and Media Graduate Studies programs.

"Through these and many other experiential learning opportunities, our students apply their creative minds and skills in innovative ways. Often, the results are truly amazing," said Dean of McKeil School of Business, Media and Entertainment, Kurt Muller.

The keynote speaker for the evening was Neil Oliver, Executive Vice President of Torstar and President of the company’s Daily News Brands.

From research projects, to field placements, to the Global Experiences and many micro-centres stationed above in the upper gallery, the McKeil School of Business demonstrated that it is a leader in experiential learning.

The event, entitled, “Make Learning Come Alive” wsa made possible with support from the Career Ready Fund.
