Three recent Public Relations graduates receive professional recognition

Three graduates of the Public Relations Graduate Certificate Program (now Public Relations – Corporate Communications Graduate Certificate Program, Sept. 23) have been honoured by the Hamilton Chapter of the Canadian Public Relations Society.  Two are student awards, presented to recent graduates and the third is an industry award. The awards were presented last week. 

CPRS Hamilton serves Hamilton, Halton, Niagara and Southwestern Ontario – including the post-secondary institutions in these regions.

The Heather J. Pullen Memorial Award is presented to a graduating student member of CPRS Hamilton who has demonstrated a commitment to lifelong learning through academic and professional pursuits.


 

 

 

Rishita SethStudent Award of Excellence

Rishta Seth, Mohawk College Public Relations Graduate Certificate ’23 (International graduate)

Awarded up to two students in a full-time public relations program the Student Award of Excellence is presented to students who have demonstrated a clear understanding of PR, actions and behaviours that reflect professionalism, leadership in personal and scholastic activities, and a commitment to the future of the PR profession.
