Two Supply Chain students receive HOPA Ports awards

Two Mohawk College students in the Supply Chain Management Graduate Program were recently awarded HOPA Ports scholarships from the Hamilton Oshawa Ports Authority. Amit Fulsagar (Winter 2021) and Christilyn Mercader (Fall 2020) each recently received their awards - an engraved globe to symbolize the globalization of our supply chain world - along with a $2,500 monetary prize. Both students finished the program, entirely online, during one of the most disruptive periods in the industry’s history.

“Amit and Christilyn were top students in their cohort, and were both held in high regard by all the professors who taught them. Having the HOPA award will help them gain careers in supply chain and contribute to the Hamilton supply chain community,” said Carol Fleck, Professor and Coordinator for the Supply Chain Management Graduate Program and International student-faculty Lead.
