Update on Mohawk Brantford

In advance of expected media coverage from the Brantford Expositor, Brant News and CKPC radio, here is a quick update for students and staff on Mohawk Brantford.

Mohawk remains committed to closing the Elgin Street Campus and relocating students, programs and staff to the quality of facilities they deserve. A review of programs offered at the Elgin Street Campus is now underway to identify where those programs could best fit going forward.

At the same time, Mohawk also remains committed to serving the Brantford community. Mohawk was the first postsecondary institution to open its doors in Brantford more than 40 years ago and wants that partnership to continue. To that end, Mohawk intends to retain its Odeon Campus and to work to find ways to grow this campus in the downtown. Mohawk remains open to working with the City of Brantford and the new mayor and council after this month’s municipal election.
