UPDATED: Important information for new and returning students

Registration Information

Registration for missed/failed courses from previous semesters, and courses for which you have received academic approval/special authorization begins when the Add Period opens on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012.

Enrollment in courses is based on availability.

Approval/Special Authorization from the academic department does not guarantee availability this term.

The last day to add or change a course on your timetable is Friday, Jan. 20, 2012 at 4:30 pm for most programs.

Please see “Winter 2012 – Important Registration Deadline Dates” for more information.

Students who drop courses within the first 10 days of the start of a term, and as a result drop to part-time status, may be eligible for a partial refund of fees paid.

Students should discuss the consequences of dropping courses with their Program Co-ordinator or Student Success Advisor.

Dropping courses may affect your promotion from one semester to the next and your eligibility for OSAP.

If you register in a course and the prerequisite is not met, Mohawk College will drop this course from your registration at a later date.
