World Creativity & Innovation Day is April 21st. Mohawk’s IDEAWORKS is an active hub of applied research and innovation, providing industry and community partners access to faculty and staff expertise, an inspired student workforce, exceptional facilities and top technology. For Mohawk students, IDEAWORKS offers an environment that combines hands-on learning and advanced skills development.   • Mohawk is recognized as one of Canada's top 50 Research Colleges, and is ranked second in Canada for industry research intensity
  • IDEAWORKS fills the space between research and solutions by delivering customized support to organizations. As an active hub of applied research and innovation, IDEAWORKS provides industry and community partners access to faculty and staff expertise, an inspired student workforce, exceptional facilities and top technology. And, for Mohawk students, IDEAWORKS offers an environment that combines hands-on learning and advanced skills development.
  • The IDEAWORKS Catalyst Fund supports emerging innovators and helps them get Applied Research projects off the ground
  • IDEAWORKS’ mHealth and eHealth Development and Innovation Centre (MEDIC) is Canada's only Technology Access Centre with a focus on digital health, healthcare standards and interoperability. Through MEDIC, partners access a working health ecosystem for the development and commercialization of new health IT innovations
  • Mohawk’s Energy and Power Innovation Centre supports industry innovation in the energy & power sector by partnering with companies on applied research and development projects. EPIC recently opened a new Energy and Power Utilities lab within a decommissioned substation in downtown Hamilton – the first of its kind research & training facility
  • The Additive Manufacturing Innovation Centre at Mohawk College offers manufacturers, designers, university researchers and start-ups a collaborative, low-risk environment to explore metal and plastic additive manufacturing/3D Printing.
