Mohawk student recognized in national photography contest - In the News

Mohawk Photography student Kaysha Jamieson was named to the longlist for the New Generation Photography Award.

Kaysha’s nominated image, After The Rainfall, was one of 19 selected for the national prize this year, supported by Scotiabank and the National Gallery of Canada.

The 2020 New Generation Photography Award celebrates young Canadians working in lens-based art. Open to individuals 30 and under, the award is the only one of its kind and its purpose is to elevate the careers of young artists.
