Community in Motion Awards

The Transit Friendly Organization award honours organizations that demonstrate significant impact on promoting transit and a transit-friendly environment.

The Community in Motion Awards are presented by the City of Hamilton to members of the community who have made an effort to actively support and promote the use of sustainable forms of transportation such as public transit, cycling or walking.

Awards are given to individuals, groups, businesses and organizations that demonstrate outstanding efforts in promoting active and alternative modes of transportation by creating a friendly environment for these modes through infrastructure, educational programming and other similar initiatives.
