The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) and Mohawk College are looking for another nonprofit in need of an extreme home makeover.

One eligible nonprofit in Greater Hamilton will be chosen for the 2014 community building project by OTF and Mohawk. In 2013, OTF awarded a $74,700 capital grant and a crew of 100 Building Renovation students from Mohawk rebuilt the second storey of the Old Firehall Arts Centre for Theatre Ancaster. The partnership is the first of its kind between the OTF and an Ontario community college.

Interested nonprofits are asked to attend an information session on Thursday, April 25 at 3 p.m. or 7 p.m. in the Bert Hares Boardroom (room i131) at Mohawk’s Fennell Campus. Grant applications will be due by July 1 with the community building renovation project to take place in March 2014. Please RSVP to:
