Gerald Marshall Benefit raises $50,000, matching program creates $200,000 for student bursaries

More students with unlimited potential yet limited means will get a Mohawk education thanks to the friends and family of the late Gerald Marshall. The 350 guests who took part in the 5th annual Gerald Marshall Centre Benefit April 2 raised $50,000. Through an Ontario government's matching program, that $50,000 became $200,000 for student bursaries. The events, named in memory of Hamilton businessman Gerald Marshall, have raised more than $200,000 in support of Mohawk College.
