Mohawk welcomes thousands of cyclists Saturday night

NEW: Kawartha News coverage of the Great Ride to Conquer Cancer.

NEW: Toronto Star coverage on the Great Ride to Conquer Cancer.

For the second year in a row, Mohawk and our neighbour Hillfield Strathallan College are the midway point for the Great Ride to Conquer Cancer. Thousands of cyclists are expected to make the trek from downtown Toronto to Niagara Falls with a layover at the Fennell Campus Saturday afternoon to early Sunday morning. Look for fields of tents, a parking lot full of bicycles and a whole lot of tired cyclists from across Canada and the U.S. raising millions for research at The Princess Margaret, one of the world's top 5 centres for cancer research.
