Tim Fricker named Mohawk's new Dean of Students

Mohawk College is pleased to announce the promotion of Tim Fricker to Dean of Students.

Tim makes the transition to Dean from hisrole as Director of Student Success Initiatives at Mohawk College. In that role, Tim brought leadership to the college’s initiatives in support of student success and retention and aligned institutional efforts around it’s Student Success Plan.

Tim has a significant background in student supports, engagement and crisis management and his work has been published in numerous academic publications and journals. He is also the recipient of the Michael Skolnik Award in Community College Studies from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Geography from University of Windsor, a Masters of Education, Post-secondary Studies from Memorial University, Newfoundland and has just completed his course work in the Doctor of Philosophy Community College Leadership at the University of Toronto.

The College looks forward to Tim’s leadership around our key strategic priorities around Student Success. Tim transitioned into this role earlier this month.
