Support the United Way through payroll deduction

Mohawk President and United Way of Burlington and Greater Hamilton Board Member Rob MacIsaac is asking staff to support the United Way through payroll deduction. Forms are being mailed this week to all staff. Staff who return their completed forms by Dec. 10 will be eligible to win a $50 gift certificate to the Keg. Mohawk's United Way goal for 2010-2011 is $65,000. Payroll deduction will support the United Way of Brant and the United Way of Burlington and Greater Hamilton. "The United Way supports 75 member agencies -- local groups that provide support, hands-on learning and job opportunities to many of our students and graduates," says Rob, who was the first chair of the United Way's Burlington campaign.
